An Inclusive Hub for Every Rider

We are committed to making the outdoors accessible to everyone by providing dedicated storage for adaptive bikes.

Sport Aberdeen and Grampian Disability Sport are funded by NESTRANS to make adapted cycling more accessible. They will store 3 trikes in the bike hub, increasing the number of guided rides available in Ballater, helping more people enjoy our outstanding local environment and making cycling in Ballater more inclusive and accessible for riders of all capabilities.

Dates and booking information for the adaptive guided rides will be available through Sport Aberdeen.

Anyone interested in more information on the guided rides can email gicb.gds@gmail.com or visit the dedicated Facebook page below.

Strengthening Our Sustainable Community

This project, funded by the Cairngorms National Park Authority, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Nestrans, is a vital investment in our local economy. By encouraging active tourism and longer visitor stays, the hub supports local cafes and shops while promoting sustainable, low-impact travel.
